The Varsity eSports League aims to be the vessel for universities, colleges, and schools alike to compete with each other in the ever expanding arena of eSports.
The VeSL was founded by Evan Oberman, along with a number of fellow students at Dalhousie University. We are striving to have as many schools work with us to become the vessel (the vesl) for gamers like ourselves to communicate with each other, and drive the competitive spirit of a varsity team.

We are essentially trying to organize a team for each school as any soccer or football team would, which can compete against other schools in competitive electronic titles. This would be similar to other gaming leagues such as CAL, MLG and CEVO, although players would be set for each school, opposed to teams amassing from different regions. We hope to eventually have teams traveling to play against each other, or to major tournaments, similar to the CPL, or WCG.
