The Varsity eSports League aims to be the vessel for universities, colleges, and schools alike to compete with each other in the ever expanding arena of eSports.

The VeSL was founded by Evan Oberman, along with a number of fellow students at Dalhousie University. We are striving to have as many schools work with us to become the vessel (the vesl) for gamers like ourselves to communicate with each other, and drive the competitive spirit of a varsity team.

At this time, we are not charging anything for people to sign up their schools, etc. Most tournaments are free, although there is the possibility of future "pay to play" events. All other costs would be on the player to pay for the systems and games that they play with. This is of course the current state, there may be costs associated with attending future tournaments or LAN parties, although those will be defined at a later date.
